Every animal's health, in one place your whole team can trust.
For farms, sanctuaries, rescues, and foster networks that have outgrown the spreadsheet. Drop in a vet invoice, lab result, or intake sheet. Petto reads it, updates the right animal, and shows your team what's due next.
Most animal software stores what you type in. Petto reads what your vet sends and works out what it means and what's next.
When records live in five places, things get missed.
The vet invoice is in someone's inbox. Vaccine dates are in a spreadsheet. What happened with the goat in paddock 3 is in one volunteer's head. When shifts change or an animal goes to foster, the history doesn't always go with it.
Records are included. Understanding is the product.
Every animal tool can write down what happened. Petto is priced for what comes next.
Record it
Intake, vaccines, medications, weights, feeding, walks, and a reminder for what is due. Every animal tool does this. So does Petto, for every animal in your care, with unlimited users.
Understand it
Petto reads what the vet sent. Every lab value with its reference range and what moved since last time. The dose off the prescription. The next-due date off the invoice. Explained in plain language, and never a diagnosis.
Act on it
Each animal's plan updates itself when a record changes. A check appears when a condition or a medication shows up. Follow-ups are proposed from the vet's own notes. Ask the whole herd a question. Nightly, without anyone typing.
Start with the paperwork you already have.
- 1
Drop it in.
Vet invoices, lab results, intake forms, even photos of paper records. Bring your spreadsheet too.
- 2
Petto understands it.
It pulls out vaccines, medications, lab values, and follow-ups, and attaches each one to the right animal for your team to review.
- 3
Your team sees what is next.
Who's due, who's overdue, and who needs a recheck, organized by site and by barn, kennel, or foster home.
What you get
One living record per animal.
Every visit, lab, medication, and note in one timeline that updates as new documents come in.
Organized the way your place is.
Sites, barns, stalls, kennels, paddocks, coops, and foster homes. Move an animal and its history moves with it.
Ask your records.
"Who’s in stall 12?" "Which goats are due for CDT?" "What changed for Juniper since her last visit?" Answers come from your own records.
Daily care, per animal.
Log feeding, walks, weights, and medications given, one animal at a time or a whole paddock at once. Every entry lands on the animal it belongs to, and the care log exports when an inspector asks.
Built for many hands.
Staff, volunteers, fosters, and your vet each see what they need. You decide who sees what. Unlimited users on every plan.
Every species in your care.
Horses, goats, pigs, sheep, chickens, cattle, dogs, cats, rabbits, and more.
One record, every hand.
Intake, foster, back to you, a second foster, the adopter, the adopter's vet. The animal never starts over. A foster sees the animals in their care and adds what they see. Everything they add stays with the animal when it comes back or moves on.
Every animal leaves with its whole story.
Every vet visit, every medication, every lab result, and what's due next, in a record the adopter keeps and can share with their own vet. Adopters get six months of Petto with every adoption, so the care continues instead of starting from scratch.
How it works for adoptersFoster with a Petto organization.
Fosters get their own Petto account for the animals they are caring for, and Petto is free for their own animals while they foster. A recruiting benefit for you, and one less thing to explain on a Saturday.
Built for places that don't run on vet-clinic software.

Questions organizations ask
Do we have to give up our spreadsheet on day one?
No. Bring it with you. Petto reads it in along with your vet documents, and you can keep the spreadsheet as a backup for as long as you like.
Does Petto replace our veterinarian?
No. Petto keeps your records organized and understood so every vet visit starts with the full history. Your vet can be given access to the animals they care for.
Is this shelter management software?
Petto focuses on animal health: records, medications, follow-ups, and where each animal lives. The Records plan also covers intake to outcome, adoption paperwork, and Petfinder listings, so a foster-based rescue can run on Petto alone. It is not a donor or accounting system, and it does not collect adoption fees.
What counts as an active animal?
Any animal currently in your care, whether on site or in a foster home. Animals that have been adopted out or have passed stop counting.
When can we start?
We are opening Petto Professional to a small group of organizations first. Join the list and we will reach out when there is a spot for you.
